By using Querylab.io, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
1. The Service
Querylab.io is a SQL IDE for Google BigQuery with code editing, query execution, and AI assistance (Prism AI). We depend on Google BigQuery and Stripe; we're not liable for their service interruptions.
2. Account
You must authenticate via Google OAuth. You're responsible for all activity under your account. Querylab.io is intended for users 16 years or older.
3. Plans & Billing
- Free: Limited features, available to all users
- Teams: Full features, monthly or annual billing. New business users get a 30-day free trial (no payment required; converts to Free if not upgraded)
- Enterprise: Seat-based licensing for organizations
Stripe processes all payments. Subscriptions auto-renew; cancel anytime in Settings. See our Refund Policy for cancellation terms.
4. BigQuery Costs
You are solely responsible for all Google BigQuery costs incurred through Querylab.io, regardless of our cost estimates. We display estimates before execution, but actual billing is determined by Google. Report significant variances to us.
5. Acceptable Use
Don't:
- Use the service for illegal purposes
- Attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Use automated systems exceeding 100 queries/minute
- Share account credentials
You represent that you have authority to access all BigQuery resources you query through Querylab.io.
6. AI & Data
Prism AI may process your queries via Anthropic, Google, or OpenAI. We access BigQuery metadata (table names, schemas) for intelligent features but don't access or store your actual BigQuery data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Intellectual Property
We own Querylab.io. You own your SQL queries and data. You can export your data anytime via account settings.
8. Disclaimer
QUERYLAB.IO IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that cost estimates will be accurate.
9. Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE'RE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (minimum $100 for paid plan claims).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Querylab.io from claims arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the service, excluding claims arising from our gross negligence.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for Terms violations with reasonable notice. For paid plans terminated by us, we provide 30 days notice and pro-rata refund. You may terminate anytime; data deleted per our Privacy Policy.
12. Disputes
These Terms are governed by Delaware law. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, then small claims court or mediation. You retain rights to bring claims in small claims court.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes announced via email 30 days in advance. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
